About the role
This role focuses on applying, testing, deploying, and supporting reservoir simulation and optimization technologies across Chevron's global assets. The engineer collaborates with R&D teams and supports operational use and continuous enhancement of reservoir simulation workflows.
What you’ll do
• Collaborate with R&D to deploy reservoir simulation technologies. • Operate and support reservoir simulation and optimization workflows. • Conduct reservoir engineering and simulation studies. • Perform history matching and generate forecasts. • Provide technical guidance and mentoring.
What you’ll bring
• Master's in Petroleum Engineering or related; Ph.D. preferred. • 3-7 years experience in reservoir simulation and optimization. • Experience with probabilistic forecasting and history matching. • Knowledge of digital platforms like DELFI, OSDU, RESQML. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
