About the role
Join Alpaca as a Senior Accountant to strengthen and scale accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. Support the company's growth and regulatory compliance in a fully remote, distributed team.
What you’ll do
• Prepare and document journal entries per GAAP and policies. • Optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Prepare timely financial statements. • Assist with annual financial audits and documentation. • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. • 5–7 years progressive accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
