About the role
Build and maintain backend systems powering financial products and services. Ensure reliability and accuracy in payment and wallet transactions for users in Nigeria and Ghana.
What you’ll do
• Deploy and monitor containerised services on Kubernetes. • Design clean APIs for frontend and partner use. • Optimize queries and troubleshoot production issues. • Own critical flows like payments and wallet funding. • Maintain internal admin and partner B2B systems.
What you’ll bring
• 6+ years Node.js backend development experience. • Strong TypeScript skills. • Experience with API integration and failure handling. • Knowledge of security, auth, and audit trails. • Familiarity with idempotency, retries, and transactions.
