About the role
Own and develop the guidance firmware for virtual fencing on animal collars. Design algorithms and protocols for guiding cattle using modern C++ on embedded systems.
What you’ll do
• Own guidance firmware and virtual fencing logic. • Design guidance algorithms and state machines. • Build in modern C++ on FreeRTOS. • Debug intermittent field problems using telemetry. • Collaborate with engineers and animal experts.
What you’ll bring
• Experience with resource-constrained systems software. • Strong C++ fundamentals and design patterns. • Comfort with concurrency and real-time behavior. • Good judgement under uncertainty. • Strong ownership and team player.
