About the role
Provide direct legal support to mortgage/HELOC products and business units. Advise on legal, regulatory, and product issues related to mortgage, consumer credit, and related services.
What you’ll do
• Manage legal and regulatory issues for mortgage/HELOC products. • Work with outside counsel and internal teams. • Advise on debt collection, privacy, and consumer credit compliance. • Ensure compliance with laws and company policies. • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What you’ll bring
• JD degree from accredited law school. • Experience advising mortgage lenders or fintechs. • Knowledge of consumer credit lending issues. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage heavy workload under pressure.
