About the role
Provide legal support and manage medical malpractice litigation for Cleveland Clinic. Oversee outside counsel and collaborate on risk, claims, and litigation matters.
What you’ll do
• Oversee medical malpractice litigation and outside counsel. • Investigate and negotiate claims and settlements. • Advise and mentor attorneys and staff. • Manage budget and cost-effective legal services. • Maintain expertise and ensure legal compliance.
What you’ll bring
• Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law school. • Member in good standing of state bar or ability to join. • 10 years legal experience in relevant area. • Experience leading internal staff and outside counsel. • Medical malpractice litigation experience preferred.
