About the role
Join Tabby's Infrastructure team to build and maintain high-performance database systems at scale. Solve technical challenges and improve database reliability and performance.
What you’ll do
• Design, construct, install, and maintain large relational databases. • Maintain database integrity and security including backups and recovery. • Implement disaster recovery and failover systems. • Monitor and optimize database performance and apply patches. • Collaborate with development teams to optimize database usage.
What you’ll bring
• Proven hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including replication and tuning. • Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries. • Experience with backup and recovery strategies including PITR. • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go. • Familiarity with cloud DBaaS, DevOps practices, and real-time data streaming.
