About the role
Join Quilter's Placer Team to build AI that automates component placement on PCBs. Work on research, prototyping, production, and maintenance of ML and optimization solutions.
What you’ll do
• Own problems end-to-end from R&D to production systems. • Develop GPU-accelerated code in PyTorch and CUDA C++. • Work with RL, graph neural networks, and generative modeling. • Formulate objectives and debug numerical behavior. • Contribute to technical direction and research strategy.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years industry experience in ML or optimization. • Strong fundamentals in machine learning and optimization. • Production PyTorch experience. • Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous spaces. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
