About the role
Lead complex interconnection studies and develop models for grid planning. Provide expertise internally and to clients on transmission and interconnection processes.
What you’ll do
• Perform complex interconnection studies across multiple ISOs and Utilities. • Develop and validate IBR and large load models. • Review and replicate ISO/Utility interconnection study results. • Support developers navigating interconnection processes. • Collaborate on studies and stay updated on industry trends.
What you’ll bring
• Minimum 4 years electric energy industry experience. • Experience in IBR modelling and transmission planning. • Strong understanding of FERC, NERC, ISO standards. • Knowledge of PSSE, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld, ASPEN, PSCAD. • Beneficial: ISO/Utility experience and automation skills.
