About the role
Design and ship autonomous execution for agents acting on Alpaca accounts. Lead architecture and implementation of account-level policy and guardrails for trading systems.
What you’ll do
• Lead application architecture for safe agent execution. • Design and build account-level policy and guardrails. • Own services evaluating rules for trading systems. • Partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, and identity platform. • Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years software engineering experience. • Experience shipping autonomous execution software. • Designed and implemented account-level policy. • Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, willing to work in Go. • Strong architectural judgment and clear communication.
