About the role
Build innovative web solutions for Toast Local to enhance guest interactions. Collaborate with frontend, backend, and mobile engineers to create exceptional digital dining experiences.
What you’ll do
• Lead web development for guest-facing and restaurant tools. • Build cross-platform experiences with iOS, Android, backend teams. • Work across stack from React/Next.js to backend services. • Experiment with guests and restaurants to test new experiences. • Ship code driving growth and strategy of consumer business.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years full-stack software engineering experience. • Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript; Next.js a plus. • Backend experience with GraphQL or REST APIs; Kotlin/Java a plus. • Ownership from shipping to monitoring and analyzing results. • Proven leadership on technical projects with cross-team impact.
