About the role
Join Astronomer as a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy production infrastructure for Apache Airflow at scale. Influence platform engineering and help global organizations orchestrate data pipelines efficiently.
What you’ll do
• Make data-driven decisions on platform development. • Own testing, building, and deployment in PaaS environment. • Collaborate on production system design and standards. • Participate in incident management and platform evolution. • Create and maintain internal documentation.
What you’ll bring
• Strong systems design and implementation experience. • Proficient in Python, Golang, Kubernetes (CKA or equivalent). • Experience with observability and SLI/SLO tracking. • Strong communication with distributed teams. • Passion for reliability and operational excellence.
