About the role
Maintain and improve reliability of Alpaca's brokerage platform with focus on PostgreSQL database.
What you’ll do
• Operate production day-to-day including oncall and incident response. • Define and refine SLIs/SLOs and error budgets. • Enhance observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerting. • Ship infrastructure as code in GitOps workflow. • Manage PostgreSQL performance, migrations, and HA/DR.
What you’ll bring
• 4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or backend engineering. • Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps workflows. • Strong PostgreSQL production knowledge. • Cloud networking fundamentals and debugging skills. • Proficient in Go or Python and strong communication.
