About the role
Lead the architecture and evolution of Affirm's EKS platform, ensuring reliability and scalability. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive platform standards and operational excellence.
What you’ll do
• Architect and evolve EKS platform and cluster lifecycle. • Lead cluster provisioning and upgrades with IaC and workflows. • Own reliability of core shared components and CI/CD pipeline. • Define and enforce workload safety standards and automation. • Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotation.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years software or infrastructure engineering experience. • 6+ years operating production Kubernetes at scale. • Expertise in EKS, Kubernetes internals, and autoscaling. • Proficiency with Terraform, GitOps, and cloud-native AWS architecture. • Strong Go or Python skills and leadership experience.
