About the role
The Senior S&T Estimator creates utility project estimates and supports project management and junior estimators. This role involves consulting on projects and providing best-in-class service for transmission and substation projects.
What you’ll do
• Produce conceptual transmission and distribution line routes. • Create preliminary project schedules. • Write scope of work for pre-funding projects. • Create and review estimates using Sage and Navigator. • Coordinate with planning and engineering teams.
What you’ll bring
• Manage high-volume workload and communicate effectively. • Understand engineering design and drawing packages. • High school or GED required. • 8+ years in transmission or substation estimating. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
