Signal Engineer IV

About the role
Design and engineer rail signal systems including circuit designs and vital logic programming. Work with customer specifications, railroad standards, and FRA regulations to deliver signal solutions.
What you’ll do
• Design Highway Crossing Warning systems. • Design wayside systems and program VLC and WIU. • Review project scope with managers and leads. • Manage document control and versioning. • Attend project reviews with customers and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience. • 5+ years railroad signaling experience with degree or 10+ years without. • Knowledge of signal systems and FRA, AREMA standards. • Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, AUTOCAD. • Excellent verbal and written engineering skills.
