About the role
Join Lyft's Applied AI team as a Backend Engineer to build infrastructure connecting Lyft to AI ecosystems. Architect APIs and orchestration layers enabling third-party agents and multimodal interfaces to interact with Lyft.
What you’ll do
• Establish engineering best practices and uplift team craft. • Drive high-impact projects and innovate solutions. • Design scalable systems from idea to launch. • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance. • Participate in code reviews and on-call rotation.
What you’ll bring
• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering or related field. • 3+ years software engineering experience. • Experience with Python and Go. • Knowledge of cloud platforms and databases. • Proficient in object-oriented programming and algorithms.
