About the role
Build and own the serverless containers product enabling AI apps to run on Mistral's sovereign AI cloud. Design and ship the scheduler, routing, and scaling systems for CPU and GPU containers.
What you’ll do
• Build container platform end to end: image delivery, placement, routing, scaling. • Solve cold starts with snapshotting, prewarming, image-layer caching. • Support AI workloads with GPU-backed containers and long-lived connections. • Write Go and own architecture and implementation decisions. • Partner with Product Managers to deliver a developer-friendly product.
What you’ll bring
• Shipped production systems in Go. • Built container or workload platforms, not just deployed. • Deep Linux knowledge: namespaces, cgroups, image layers. • Multi-tenancy instincts for density, isolation, fairness. • Experience building complex backend or infrastructure systems.
