About the role
Design, build, and commission fluid systems for Starship production. Own hardware from concept through handoff to production technicians.
What you’ll do
• Design and commission fluid systems for production and testing. • Size systems and select components using calculations and testing. • Own system design, reviews, failure analysis, and documentation. • Define operation and control, partner with automation team. • Support vehicle test operations and improve equipment reliability.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering or related. • 5+ years fluid systems design, analysis, and build experience. • Ownership of hardware projects with minimal supervision. • Experience sizing piping, valves, regulators, relief devices. • Experience with 3D CAD, schematics, failure mode analysis.
