About the role
Develop, grow and maintain a profitable book of Human Services business through underwriting and marketing. Manage relationships with producers and ensure service commitments are met.
What you’ll do
• Evaluate and assess submitted applications for risk and premium. • Develop and maintain producer relationships through visits and calls. • Complete underwriting checklists and prepare reports. • Maintain contact with agents, claims, finance, and risk control teams. • Provide instructions for policy issuance and handle endorsements.
What you’ll bring
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum 7 years multi-line underwriting and marketing experience. • Knowledge of insurance rating, structure, forms and coverages. • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills. • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
