About the role
Provide expertise in developing processes for plastic injection mold production. Impact Starlink product components with mechanical and process engineers.
What you’ll do
• Own parting line development and surfacing of molds. • Conduct design for manufacturability studies on injection molded parts. • Manage feasibility and surfacing of critical mold components. • Interpret mold filling simulations and cooling analyses. • Design tools for in-house manufacturing and support external tool designs.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years professional designer experience. • 3+ years feasibility and mold flow analysis. • Experience with Siemens NX. • Experience designing injection molds. • Willingness to work extended hours and travel up to 25%.
