About the role
The Staff Accountant handles daily transactions, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and tax schedules. They support accounting implementations and prepare management reports.
What you’ll do
• Record day-to-day transactions: payables, receivables, expenses, payroll. • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations using ReconIQ. • Support month-end close: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets. • Prepare VAT, WHT and PAYE schedules and maintain filing calendar. • Support client ReconIQ implementations and prepare management reports.
What you’ll bring
• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or related field. • ICAN or ACCA qualification or progress toward one. • 1–3 years accounting experience, audit background welcome. • Strong bank reconciliation, month-end skills and Excel. • Knowledge of Nigerian tax: VAT, WHT and PAYE.
