About the role
Backend engineers build core services, data pipelines, and customer-facing features. They deliver APIs, infrastructure, and scalability for product initiatives.
What you’ll do
• Design, implement, and test APIs for new products and features. • Maintain and optimize existing systems focusing on database performance. • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders. • Stay updated with latest technologies and encourage peers. • Serve as on-call engineer about one week per month.
What you’ll bring
• 8+ years backend/API production development experience. • Strong knowledge of Go, AWS, Docker (ECS), Postgres (RDS). • Experience with Docker-based microservice architecture. • Ability to employ software quality measures like testing and monitoring. • Adaptable to fast-moving startup environment.
