About the role
Develop and mature actuated system layouts and detailed CAD designs for aerospace vehicle hardware. Integrate actuators and mechanisms, perform installation analysis, and support hardware qualification and delivery.
What you’ll do
• Develop system layouts for actuators and mechanisms. • Own detailed CAD design from concept to drawing release. • Perform actuator sizing and installation analysis. • Conduct hand calculations and basic FEA for hardware. • Support component selection and prototype assembly.
What you’ll bring
• 5-12 years mechanical design experience in aerospace. • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • Mastery of mechanical design, kinematics, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups. • Experience with CAD and PLM workflows like Siemens NX or CATIA. • Clearance eligible and ability to self-direct technical tasks.
