About the role
Lead the technical direction of Quora's recommendation systems and pioneer integration of generative models. Own end-to-end ML systems and mentor engineers to improve product engagement.
What you’ll do
• Set technical direction for home feed recommendation systems. • Lead projects across recommender stack from generation to optimization. • Drive improvements via online experiments. • Own ML systems including data pipelines and model training. • Mentor engineers and raise code quality and modeling rigor.
What you’ll bring
• Availability during Mon-Fri 9am-3pm Pacific Time. • 6+ years software development in machine learning. • 4+ years building home feed recommendation systems. • Deep knowledge of recommender stack and ML algorithms. • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science.
