About the role
Lead product improvement efforts for mechanical design and quality control at a contract manufacturer. Solve complex mechanical problems and redesign components for durability and serviceability.
What you’ll do
• Lead root cause analysis of mechanical failures. • Redesign components to eliminate failures and reduce costs. • Coordinate design, manufacturing, and quality teams. • Collaborate with NPI and supply chain for optimized solutions. • Implement feedback loops to improve product quality.
What you’ll bring
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 11+ years experience. • Hands-on mechanical design and stress analysis experience. • Experience with component testing and data analysis. • Knowledge of DFM/DFA and quality system tools. • Proficient in SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.
