About the role
Lead the Firewall pod as a hands-on technical lead building integrations and workflows for WAF platforms. Deliver reliable, secure, and observable backend services that improve customer security outcomes.
What you’ll do
• Own technical approach for Web Application Firewall workstream. • Design and build integrations with WAF management platforms. • Define correctness checks preserving legitimate traffic. • Build durable workflows with retries and idempotency. • Lead design, code reviews, and mentor engineers.
What you’ll bring
• Staff-level technical leadership and cross-team influence. • Expert in large-scale Python backend development. • 8+ years leading technical work at Staff or Lead level. • Knowledge of WAF platforms and policy models. • Proficiency in Go, Rust, or comparable language.
