About the role
Operate and maintain vessel propulsion plant and auxiliary machinery onboard Chevron's US Flag fleet vessels. Ensure safety and compliance with maritime regulations.
What you’ll do
• Handle engine department watch standing duties. • Supervise loading of stores, bunkers and water. • Ensure compliance with PPE and safety instructions. • Supervise and assist unlicensed personnel. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of engine room equipment.
What you’ll bring
• USCG Third Assistant Engineer license. • Merchant Mariners Document. • Advanced Firefighting Certificate. • Basic Safety Training. • VPDSD and Tankerman endorsement.
