About the role
Responsible for developing, qualifying, and implementing tooling and manufacturing processes for plastic injection molding. Drive alignment between design, material, and process selection for scalable solutions.
What you’ll do
• Develop new plastic injection tooling projects. • Collaborate on material selection and design feasibility. • Research new materials and manufacturing technologies. • Estimate prototype and production manufacturing costs. • Participate in supplier audits and selection.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s in mechanical or materials engineering. • 1+ years injection mold design or construction experience. • Strong 3D CAD skills, Siemens NX fluency preferred. • Knowledge of scientific molding and mold simulations. • Willingness to travel ~50%, lift 40 lbs, work long hours.
