About the role
The VSLA Officer sets up and strengthens Village Savings and Loan Associations among livelihood facility users in Borno. The role supports saving, borrowing, and reinvestment without project dependency.
What you’ll do
• Map existing VSLAs and financial service providers. • Mobilise members and explain VSLA principles. • Form and train VSLAs using recognised methodology. • Supervise groups and coach on financial management. • Link savings groups to formal financial services.
What you’ll bring
• University degree in related field. • 3+ years forming and supervising VSLAs. • Experience training adults with low literacy. • Fluent Hausa and good English. • Strong numeracy and facilitation skills.
